Umeda

Osaka Castle

Osaka Castle is one of the most famous tourist attractions, symbolizing the history and culture of Osaka. Osaka Tenmangu Shrine
大阪天満宮は、平安時代中期の949年に村上天皇の勅願によって創建された、1000年以上の歴史を誇る由緒ある神社です。地元では「てんまのてんじんさん」として親しまれています。学問の神様として知られる菅原道真公（すがわらのみちざねこう）をお祀りしており、多くの学生が合格祈願に訪れます。
Osaka Tenmangu Shrine is a venerable shrine with a history of over 1,000 years, founded in 949 during the mid-Heian period by imperial order of Emperor Murakami. It is known locally as "Tenma no Tenjin-san." The shrine is dedicated to Sugawara no Michizane, who is revered as the deity of scholarship, and many students visit to pray for success in their exams.
Tenjinbashisuji Shopping Street
ここは日本で一番長いアーケード商店街です。
南北に約2.6キロメートルという驚くほどの長さで、約600から800もの店舗が軒を連ねています。
地元の人々の生活に欠かせない場所であるだけでなく、大阪の活気ある雰囲気を体験できる人気の観光スポットでもあります。
This is the longest covered shopping arcade in Japan.
It stretches an impressive 2.6 kilometers from north to south, with approximately 600 to 800 shops lining the street.
It's not only a vital part of daily life for local residents but also a popular tourist spot where you can experience the vibrant atmosphere of Osaka.

地下鉄堺筋線と谷町線の南森町駅から徒歩1分、JR東西線の大阪天満宮駅からは徒歩2分という絶好のロケーションです。日本一長いことで知られる天神橋筋商店街が目の前にあり、大阪天満宮へも徒歩3分です。また、梅田駅へは1駅、大阪城まではタクシーで10分でアクセスできます。

Our salon, "RYU‐an," is centrally located in Osaka, with famous tourist attractions right on its doorstep.
It's in a prime location, just a one-minute walk from Minami-morimachi Station on the Subway Sakaisuji and Tanimachi Lines, and a two-minute walk from JR Tozai Line's Ōsakatemmangū Station.
The Tenjinbashi-suji Shopping Street, the longest in Japan, is right in front of the salon, and the Osaka Tenmangu Shrine is a three-minute walk away.
It's also just one stop from Umeda Station and a 10-minute taxi ride to Osaka Castle.

講師紹介
ナビゲーターは、真言密教の聖地である「高野山」で一年間仏教の教えと共に、和を通じて伝統や作法を学んだ経験があります。
裏千家の茶道以外に、弓道、いけばな、能の経験があり、積み上げた経験を海外の方々にも体験して頂きたいと思っております。
抹茶サロンRYU庵を通じて、日本の伝統を海外に発信していきます。
Instructor Introduction
Our instructor has spent a year studying Buddhism at Mount Koya, the sacred site of Shingon Esoteric Buddhism. During this time, they also immersed themselves in learning Japanese traditions and etiquette through the spirit of harmony.
In addition to practicing Urasenke-style tea ceremony, the instructor has experience in traditional Japanese arts such as Kyudo (Japanese archery), Ikebana (flower arrangement), and Noh (classical theater).
They are passionate about sharing these cultural experiences with people from around the world.
Through our Matcha Salon "RYU-an," we aim to introduce the beauty of Japanese traditions to an international audience.
